Scottish Music of the Year Mix

I'm not properly starting this blog 'til the new year. Rather than making a list which would lead to people getting their vaginas in a twist, I have made a mix of the best Scottish releases of 2009. Big Susan seems to enjoy it;

  1. Ooh, songs I like!

    To quote Susan Boyle 'There was a time when men were kind, When their voices were soft, And their words inviting'

    That time is now my friend, when listening to those songs. With the exception of The Boycotts who have a female singer so the whole gender specific line of 'a time when men were kind' doesn't translate.

    Anyway, I like.

  2. Scotland's music scene pretty much = Boards of Canada for me, and it's been four years since their last release so I don't really know any of these bands or songs particularly well.

    But you know, I respect that they're out there, making their music.
